Application of HDPE countless, ranging from reusable thin-walled drink cup to the 5gsl tank, consumption of domestic production of HDPE 1/5. Injection molding grade general melt index of 5 ~ 10, with toughness is low liquidity grade and has high liquidity level processing of. Uses include daily necessities and food thin-walled packaging; food and paint cans ductile, durable; high resistance to environmental stress cracking application, such as small engine fuel tank and 90 gal garbage cans.

The melting point of HDPE is 142 ℃, decomb temperature 300 ℃; the injection temperature adjustable interval larger. Injection molding, general use temperature is 180 ℃ --230 ℃; because the olefine plastic, it does not absorb water, production, without drying, but to the quality of the products, can be 60 ℃ drying 1hr, to discharge the water; the melt viscosity of polyethylene, flow length ratio is small, thin-walled products may lack of glue, therefore, gate and runner is relatively large; products easy with static electricity, surface easy to absorb. Shrinkage rate was 16 ‰; overflow boundary value for 0.05mm.

一般的HDPE熔點為142℃，分解溫度為300℃；注塑溫度的可調區(qū)間較大。注塑時，一般使用溫度為180℃--230℃；因是烯烴類塑料，它不吸水，生產時，不需烘干，但為了產品質量，可用60℃溫度烘干1hr，以排出浮水；聚乙烯的熔體粘度大，流長比小，薄壁制品可能缺膠，因此，澆口和流道相對較大；制品易帶靜電，表面易吸埃。收縮率為16‰；溢邊值為0.05mm。

HDPE is a high degree of crystallinity, non-polar thermoplastic resin. High density polyethylene non-toxic, tasbess white particles, odorless, melting point 130 ℃, relative density is 0.941~0.960. It has good heat resistance and cold resistance, good chemical stability, also has high rigidity and toughness, good mechanical strength. Dielectric properties, resistance to environmental stress cracking resistance is also good. The melting temperature of 220~260 ℃. For larger molecules of the material, suggest that melting temperature of 200~250 ℃. High density polyethylene is a kind of white powder granular products, non-toxic, tasbess, density of 0.940 ~ 0.976 g/cm3 range; the crystallinity of 80% ~ 90%, softening point of 125 ～ 135 ℃, temperature can reach 100 ℃; hardness, tensile strength and creep resistance is better than that of low density polyethylene; wear resistance, electrical insulation, toughness and cold resistance are good, but with low density insulating property slightly worse; good chemical stability, under the condition of room temperature, insoluble in any organic solvent, acid, alkali and salt corrosion; permeability to water vapor and air film is small, the water absorption of aging resistance perbance is poor, low; environmental stress cracking resistance as low density polyethylene, especially the thermal oxidation will make the perbance drop, so, resin added antioxidant and UV absorbent to improve this deficiency. High density polyethylene film under stress of hot debation temperature is low, should pay attention to this point application.

HDPE是一種結晶度高、非極性的熱塑性樹脂。高密度聚乙烯為無毒、無味、無臭的白色顆粒，熔點約為130℃，相對密度為0.941~0.960。它具有良好的耐熱性和耐寒性，化學穩(wěn)定性好，還具有較高的剛性和韌性，機械強度好。介電性能，耐環(huán)境應力開裂性亦較好。熔化溫度220~260℃。對于分子較大的材料，建議熔化溫度范圍在200~250℃之間。高密度聚乙烯是種白色粉末顆粒狀產品，無毒、無味，密度在0.940～0.976 g/cm3范圍內；結晶度為80%～90%，軟化點為125～135℃，使用溫度可達100℃；硬度、拉伸強度和蠕變性優(yōu)于低密度聚乙烯；耐磨性、電絕緣性、韌性及耐寒性均較好，但與低密度絕緣性比較略差些；化學穩(wěn)定性好，在室溫條件下，不溶于任何有機溶劑，耐酸、堿和各種鹽類的腐蝕；薄膜對水蒸氣和空氣的滲透性小、吸水性低；耐老化性能差，耐環(huán)境開裂性不如低密度聚乙烯，特別是熱氧化作用會使其性能下降，所以，樹脂需加入抗氧劑和紫外線吸收劑等來提高改善這方面的不足。高密度聚乙烯薄膜在受力情況下的熱變形溫度較低，這一點應用時要注意。
